Omid Nouripour started his political career in the year 2004. In 2006 he was elected to the German Parliament. He represents the Frankfurt district.
Omid was re-elected again in the years 2009, 2013, 2017, and 2021 as well. he was appointed as a member of the Defense Committee from 2006 to 2013.
Nouripur gets a chance to visit Cuba with the foreign minister of Germany. He is also been appointed as the chairman of the Ukranian and German friendship committee Since the year 2018. He is also been the deputy chairman of the German-USA and German-India friendship group in the year 2014.
